Hi, I’m Anne, an artist based in Columbus, Ohio. I make comics and pottery — story vessels that hold memory, trace time, and offer wonder.  I believe that things — handmade, deliberate things — can act as containers for memory. As expressions of time, frozen.

Current Focus

My work in clay and drawing reflects on how we perceive time and preserve memory in the rhythms of everyday life. I’m interested in the quiet act of noticing—the way small moments accumulate meaning when we capture and process them. Through handbuilt forms, surface design, and sequential imagery, I explore how stories unfold and experiences take shape. Charts, comics panels, and patterns become tools for mapping time, inviting reflection on the beauty and weight of the ordinary.
