Hi, I’m Anne, an artist based in Columbus, Ohio. I make comics and pottery — story vessels that hold memory, trace time, and offer wonder. I believe that things — handmade, deliberate things — can act as containers for memory. As expressions of time, frozen.
I work with paper, clay, ink, watercolor, gouache, colored pencil, pastel, charcoal, words, pixels, vectors, and sometimes data. I track the color of the sky, the shape of clouds, the rhythm of a baseball game, and the things we notice along the way. These everyday details captured become an archive of remembering.

I explore shape, color, and sequence to trace movement through feeling, space, and time. Comics and sequential drawings offer one kind of narrative. Form and texture another. I’m drawn to structure — origami, geometry, patterns — but also to the wild: volunteer wildflowers, organic textures, seasonal colors, and sounds.
For over two decades, I’ve worked in museums and libraries — places where stories are preserved, cataloged, and made public. That influence carries into my practice: I catalog each piece like an artifact, placing it within a growing, living collection. This site is both archive and offering — a quiet space to linger, look, and maybe find something you didn’t know you needed.
Some objects are available for purchase. Others exist simply to be seen, like memories returned to light.
Thanks for being here.
